Hey there neglected DA account! How are you doing? Hope you're alright..! I've been okay, you know, the usual.
What's that? Oh, art? Yeah, I haven't really done any lately... I can't remember the last time I even thought about drawing... Hm? Yeah, that's right. I'm pretty boring and uncreative at the moment. Yeah, I'm using all my photoshop skills to make graphics. You know, like LiveJournal avatars, wallpapers, colorbars. That sort of stuff. No, no. It's actually been really fun...
Well, yeah. Half the problem is I dont have a scanner. You remember don't you? After the Hurricane all my stuff got packed away. Well, i thought that after I got up here I'd find it all and it'd be great! Alas, when I found my scanner the glass had been smashed to pieces.
It sucks, doesn't it? I remember I saw one scanner downtown for like $80! It was cheap, yeah?! I tried to find one at CompUSA at Columbus Circle, but they're sooo expensive! Yeah, I know! So, I gotta hop on a train and go down to the financial district one day. Tell me about it!
You want to hear something horrible?! C'mon mister neglected DA - you do, don't you?? Ahh good. You know I love you! Right, right... So, two weeks ago, they started filming Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Blah, I know you know that! Stop interrupting me! Right, so they started filming. I knew they were going to be filming in Washington Square Park, but I didn't know which day. And though it's close it isn't THAT close to just go every day! Well, I never went at all, never saw any film crews. Yes, it's true that the studios are approx. three blocks from me, but that hardly counts. Shh! So, yeah, it turns out it was on that really hot day... July 19th. UGH. Can you believe that??
This past week I was in Boston/New Hampshire so I wasn't able to keep my eyes peeled for film crews, though, the day I left (tuesday) I ate lunch in a Mexican restaurant on sixth ave and there was a big crew there, though, the actors were all held up in their trailers and the equipment was still in the vans. Anyway, it wasn't any of the L&O's because none of the character's names were on the doors.
What's that? I do not talk too much! You interrupt too much! Yes, I know no one will respond.. C'mon, I'm venting here! Don't ruin my high!
